2017 Recruitment Schedule:

Formal Recruitment is Saturday, August 19th, 2017 through Saturday, August 26th, 2017

Convocation – Sunday, August 20th

-  Check-In will be in the Veterans Lounge located on the bottom floor of the MSC

LOCATION: MSC 2300 – Bethancourt Ballroom at 4 pm

  • Convocation is a mandatory orientation for Recruitment. Women will receive their Go Greek t-shirt, meet their Rho Gamma Group, and learn about the week that is before them. This will occur on Saturday.
  • Only women registered for recruitment should attend this program. We do not have space to accommodate parents and guests.

On Saturday, we would like to invite the parents of women participating in Recruitment to join us for a separate Parents Convocation at 4:00pm and 5:00pm to address any questions you have concerning sorority life and recruitment, as well as welcome you to our Greek family. We will introduce the schedule for the week, highlight the benefits of sorority involvement, discuss your role as a member of the Greek family and hear from current Family members in the Greek community. In addition, we will have a vendor fair of local businesses for you to visit. An email will be sent out to all parents to register for this event soon! Space is limited so you must register in advance to attend these events.


Day #1, Part 1, Go Greek! – Sunday, August 20th

  • 8 events, each visit 20 minutes in length, 15 minute breaks.  Women will visit 6 chapters on this day, 2 of the events will be a 20 minute break
  • Each PNM will be provided a t-shirt to wear. This is typically paired with cute shorts or a skirt. This is normally worn with sandals or flats. No athletic shorts are allowed and no alterations to the provided t-shirt are allowed.

Day #2, Part 2, Go Greek! – Monday, August 21st

  • 8 events, each visit 20 minutes in length, 15 minute breaks.  Women will visit the remaining 6 chapters on this day, 2 of the events will be a 20 minute break
  • Each PNM will be provided a t-shirt to wear. This is typically paired with cute shorts or a skirt. This is normally worn with sandals or flats. No athletic shorts are allowed and no alterations to the provided t-shirt are allowed.

Day #3, Part 1, Philanthropy Round/Financial Obligations – Tuesday, August 22nd

  • 4-5 visits, each visit 35 minutes in length, 15 minute breaks
  • Typically a cute casual sundress is worn with sandals or flats. You will be doing a lot of walking this day so wedges are not recommended.

Day #4, Part 2, Philanthropy Round/Financial Obligations - Wednesday, August 23rd

  • 4-5 visits, each visit 35 minutes in length, 15 minute breaks
  • Typically a cute casual sundress is worn with sandals or flats. You will be doing a lot of walking this day so wedges are not recommended.

Day #5, Sisterhood Round – Thursday, August 24th  

  • 6 visits, each 35 minutes in length, 20 minute breaks
  • This round is typically described as wedding attire. It is a little bit dresser than the previous round with sandals or wedges.

Day #6, Preference Round – Friday, August 25th

  • 3 visits, each 60 minutes in length, 30 minute breaks
  • This round is typically described as semi-formal attire. Woman are the most dressed up this day with wedges and heels.

Day #7, Bid Day – Saturday, August 26th

  • Women will receive invitations to membership. They will be bussed to Sorority Row and spend the evening getting to know their new sisters.
